Its central location and easy access make it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. The mall is generally clean and well-maintained, though it can get crowded on weekends and holidays. My wife and I discovered a restaurant called Tapville social in Newport center mall in Jersey City. Very unique concept and the food was very good. You get to draw your own beer from the tap.I counted 32 taps.Also there was a 2 piece band there called lightning strikes who were really good. We thoroughly enjoyed the music and the food and will definitely be back.

During my stay in Jersey City, I visited Newport Centre several times and found it to be a very convenient and enjoyable shopping mall. The location is excellent, with easy access by public transport and plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment options under one roof. The mall has a good mix of fashion retailers, department stores, and specialty shops, making it easy to find whatever you need. It is clean, spacious, and comfortable to walk around. One of the highlights of every visit is dining at The Cheesecake Factory. Whenever we come to Newport Centre, we make it a point to have a meal there. The portions are generous, the menu offers plenty of choices, and it has become part of our Newport Centre experience. While there are larger outlet malls in New Jersey, Newport Centre is perfect for everyday shopping and dining, especially for those staying in Jersey City. Overall, a pleasant and convenient mall that I would happily visit again.

In the midst of a city center such as Jersey City, with an emphasis on the neighborhood of Newport, once a hub for industry and the manufacturing industry, malls tend to not be common anymore in the contemporary day, due to the rise of e-commerce, and the presence of smaller shopping centers that succeed within the grasp of the United States in urban settings. Somehow, Newport Centre, which opened in 1987 and remains one of the state's most popular malls following the end of the heyday in the 1990s for malls, manages to survive. With this mall being a Simon mall, and one of the last three-level malls in the country, the presence of stores and diversity of offerings will not leave you disappointed to the slightest bit, with stores such as Yankee Candle, Bath and Body Works, in addition to stores such as Macy's and JCPenney that are mainstays for home goods and scented goods, to hobby shops such as Lids and Foot Locker, there are a matter of options suited to your tastes. The food offerings at this such place are also quite diverse. Beyond mall staples such as Auntie Anne's, Sarku Japan, and your usual burrito place, this mall has offerings that are much more diverse and well known

This mall was on my to visit list and also I needed something to do today. Mall has multiple entrances, large parking lot however isn't not free. Mall has teo level of shopping with a good variety of stores and eateries like cheesecake factory,haagen daz and more. Mall offers a large food court, AMC movie which are located oncthe top level. Restrooms are also located on the top level above the shopping level. Mall is kept clean with visible security walking around. They offer seating areas, snd even have massage chairs. Mall also accessible by public transportation via the path train. They also have a play area for kids so Mall offer something for everyone. So overall nice place to spend a few hours where you csn come for a movie and get some shopping done and something to eat.
